Search within before proposing or accepting a proposal. It ensures that the love is true and ready.

Marriage can be a beautiful and lasting thing.  That is if you chose the most compatible person . Not to mention the reason you did it to begin with.

While there are millions of  people  in the world, how can you possibly choose ? Someone from your childhood, college , job and or affiliations to any organizations. Maybe something as exciting chance meeting.

Whose to say how ,when and where it happens but it does. Now that that’s happened, now what? Do what it takes to nurture and grow the marriage.

It’s at this point in time the honeymoon phase is passing or has already  faded.

You have gotten use to a set routine and schedule. Without warning for some it’s over before you realize it.

For others it’s time to roll up your sleeves and put  in some work. Nothing about marriage is perfect and it is a lifetime achievement. Don’t have  unreasonable expectations.

Make sure y’all are communicating and sharing your feelings openly with understanding.  Leaving any past problems behind. If closure is needed this is the best time to do so. You are no longer I, it becomes we.

Love endures and forgives. No one or marriage is perfect or ever will be. Go on walks, have dinner naked by candle light, go on a date, fishing,  camping or whatever you decide.

Always remember why you fell in love with each other and keep it spicy.  It truly is what you both make it.  marriage is a beautiful bond.
