Finding The Lesson In Love

It is the discovery of every human that roams the earth, from the beginning of time till the end of it. The first lesson of love is at birth, we are afraid until we lock eyes with our mother. She is our first love and we are hooked for life. Father, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandma, grandpa and so on are next. In whatever order it comes we fall hard and begin connections . Learning them and so much more, our feelings are on a roll that lasts. We start to venture out into the new world, enthused with everyone and everything we see. Slowly learning differences in people, places and things, we are very trusting. Learning physical pain and pleasure, curious about all things. Starting school , not really wanting to be there, afraid actually to be left alone with the unknown. Learning to trust new people, the teachers, students and other staff, maybe even liking them. By month one or two learning to enjoy some of it, playing yet learning educational lessons. Growing and moving up through grade school, making friends, first disagreements and or fights. For most learning discipline, continuous challenges  and adventures throughout high school, college and leaving the nest. In time and through trial and error we discover  who and what we are as well as our wants,  needs, or dislikes. Enjoy the ride, learn the lessons and embrace the results knowing that life is about the lessons not the mistakes. When we stop learning so does the journey of life itself. Parents and children alike are imperfectly perfect for life, learning and growing together. Each century bringing new challenges to face together so, the individual progress in every category matters; ultimately it is the foundation of future unity on all fronts. Mend all relational breaks, heal all internal scars, forgive self and all mistakes and forge strength through all experiences. Teach and lead all by healthy example, extend a hand to all that reach, give respect to all that give and let live and love all unconditionally, treating others as you do self, aren’t you deserving of kindness and respect? Then so is everyone else, just as any beginning it starts as a child in his or her home, guidance, experience and training. Through the struggles give yourself a chance and a pat on the back you’ve got this. You are amazingly special and unique so, believe in you.
